PE Extrusion Machine Solution for Pesticide Bottle Permeation
Ordinary PE pesticide bottles often suffer from liquid permeation, bottle wall swelling, and content volatilization during storage. The core cause is that the organic solvents in pesticides will produce molecular mutual dissolution and swelling reaction with PE materials, resulting in chemical penetration, liquid leakage, and shortened product shelf life.
We have two mature and effective anti-permeation solutions for PE pesticide and chemical bottles to completely solve the permeation problem.
1. Internal Fluorination Treatment
This process is suitable for traditional single-layer PE bottle production lines without modifying extrusion screws and molds. After fluorination modification on the inner wall of the finished PE bottle, a dense and stable fluorine barrier layer is formed on the inner surface. It effectively isolates the contact and mutual dissolution between organic solvents and the PE substrate, thoroughly preventing the penetration of pesticides and chemical solvents.
Advantages: Low renovation cost, flexible production, compatible with small-batch and diversified production, no change to bottle appearance and toughness.
Application: Medium and low permeability pesticides, conventional emulsifiable concentrates, and short-term storage products.
2. Multi-layer Co-extrusion with EVOH High Barrier Material
Adopt multi-layer extrusion screws and multi-layer co-extrusion dies to produce composite bottles with a five-layer structure: Outer PE + Adhesive Layer + EVOH Barrier Layer + Adhesive Layer + Inner PE. As a high-barrier material, EVOH has excellent resistance to organic solvents and chemical penetration. The middle embedded barrier layer is wear-resistant and stable, providing long-term and reliable anti-permeation performance.
Advantages: Superior and stable anti-permeation performance, resistant to high-concentration solvents and extreme temperatures, long shelf life, no easy damage to the barrier layer.
Application: High-permeability pesticides, high-concentration chemical solvents, long-term storage, and high-standard export orders.
